Things to do in Kenya this December

The holidays always seem to arrive way too quickly, the season is in full swing with Christmas and New Year around the corner. As merrymakers look forward to the festivities, most of us still have no idea of what to do for the holiday. Majority of the corporates break a few days to Christmas and you’ll probably find yourself with a lot of time in your hands and nothing to do.

Here we will look at a suggestion of things to do over the holiday period. Though the list is endless.

• Travelling – Many Kenyans choose to go upcountry during the Christmas period but you can also use the time to travel to other parts of the country and enjoy yourself or with your family.
• Movies/series – you probably been busy with work and you missed some of your favorite movies and series well you can use this time to catch up with the latest movies in town.

• Invite friends and family -The Christmas period is one of the best times to invite friends and family for a get together party so you can talk and reminisce and catch up.

• Read a – with enough free time during the day, you can read as many books as you possible can before the new year starts and you have to go back to work.

• Volunteer –this  is not only a season for receiving gifts but sharing as well and one of the gift people tend to forget is time to spread the spirit of giving.

• Do a side hustle – use this period to make some extra money. You can use the free time to start a small hustle land in the end you earn more income.

• Clear your to do list –maybe you had things planned but you couldn’t do because of time, now you can use the free time and clear your to do list.

• Go for concerts -There are many concerts during the holiday period and they offer a perfect plot if you have nothing much to do.

• Go shopping -buy gifts and spoil yourself, the holiday gives you a perfect time to take advantage of end of year sales and buy items at discounted prices.

• Learn a new skill -With time on your hands you can learn new things.

• Go out partying –Go and have fun because the holiday period is the perfect time to go out paint the town red but just remember to drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive.
