January 5, 2020What To Consider When Naming An Event In A Branding Strategy
As we saw earlier there are four elements of an event brand in our earlier post. We also pointed out that the brand name represents the most crucial of them all and that it should be catchy and easy to recall such that they people can identify with. It. In addition, it should always complement the company logo.
A carefully branded event resulting from a carefully named event always results in a successful branding event. And remember, there is a direct correlation between good branding, and good turnout of events, money raised and eventually, even the level of fun and memorable experiences people have at your event.
However, in this article, we will be exploring all the factors to consider when naming an event in a branding strategy as it is outlined below.
How the name will look at your event
Remember we said it is important to determine when your event will be held . Well it is equally important to consider how the name will look and feel from a day/night perspective. But, more importantly is this, attendees should be able to identify with the brand even if the name is obscured at certain circumstances. A good design for your event brand name and one that is conspicuous is highly recommended in such circumstances.
Maintaining consistency in the naming
It would definitely defeat the purpose if you keep changing the name every time and using different designs to the point that people can quite identify and relate with your brand. So the idea is either to put in a lot of effort in the beginning to design a name that will be perfect and prevail for a longer time with minimum change. Alternatively, you could limit your changes slightly and still maintain the high level of consistency in your brand name and design.
Tell the story via the name
It is not enough that the name you choose for your branded event be simple and catchy. It should be able to give clues, teasers and tell the target audience what they should expect from your event just by identifying with your brand.
It is from these three strategies of choosing a name that you can be able to successfully communicate what your brand is all about to your target audience and potential guests and the more appealing, and attractive and easier it is for people to identify with your brand, then the more happier and happier and loyal the guest will turn out to be. And this essentially translated to a better growth of your events and brands.
